Workshops | Register for one of the two available worskhop dates at Aalborg University, Denmark:

About | Join one of the hands-on workshops co-organized between Typhoon HIL and Aalborg University designed to equip PhD students and young engineers with the skills for performing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) projects. Each one day workshop will cover an introduction to Typhoon HIL and our technology. We will provide an overview of the Typhoon HIL Control Center Toolchain and supporting resources, a hands-on introduction to the basic workflow, followed by a dedicated hands-on session covering a few selected topics, including power electronics modeling and real-time simulation, modeling and simulation for microgrids, and test automation.

Audience | PhD students and young engineers.

Prerequisites | Prior to attending one of these workshops, you are expected to prepare by performing the following actions:

  • Install Typhoon HIL Control Center 2023.3 (required)
  • Complete the following modules from the HIL Fundamentals course at HIL Academy (required):
    1. Introduction to the Typhoon HIL Toolchain
    2. Basic Workflow
  • Complete the HIL Fundamentals course (recommended) 

Registration | To attend this workshop, register by filling out and submitting the form.

  • Please make sure to select your preferred date, September 8th or September 11th, 2023. We will reserve your place for the preferred date based on available seats on a first come first served basis. Your registration will be confirmed via email prior to the workshops.
  • In the form, please highlight the topic(s) you are most interested in, whether they are in the agenda or something you would like to learn more about beyond what is offered at our current workshops. This will help us adjust and add to what the workshops encompass.
