Do you want to know how it is like to work in the E-mobility industry? This hackathon will take you through realistic experience of accelerated design and testing of the electric vehicle onboard charger. You will apply and expand your knowledge of model-based design. You will get your hands on hardware-in-the-loop testing tools used by top industry players in the electrification of transportation. Your team will combine the knowledge of power converters, control design, test automation, real-time simulation and DSP microcontrollers. Expect a lot of learning by doing!
In two days your team will compete for the best onboard charger project. To get you excited and prepared here is the rough roadmap of the project.
- Model-based design approach in developing the power stage and controller for the charger
- Preparation of model for real-time simulation on Typhoon HIL 404 simulator
- Troubleshooting of hardware-in-the-loop interface for Texas Instruments LAUNCHXL-F28379D
- Validation through automated testing
