Andreas Dittrich graduated from from Dresden University of Technology (Technische Universität Dresden), where he also received his PhD in the field of
adaptive control of AC and DC drives. He has more than 25 years of experience in producing
energy drive controls.
Dr. Dittrich founded Enerdrive in Zurich, Swtizerland, in 2005. Enerdrive is a power electronics control software company with a constantly growing list of clients in diverse industries.
Over the years, Enerdrive has expanded its portfolio of power electronics control software. Currently, Enerdrive provides services for industrial applications in the following fields:
• Wind turbines with doubly fed and synchronous generators
• Cableway drives
• Photovoltaic converters
• Ship propulsion systems
• Active filters
• High power electronic power supplies (EPS)
Enerdrive is an early adopter of HIL technologies and its research lab is now almost entirely based on controller hardware in the loop technologies.
